This course is designed to provide the basic concepts to help officers become aware of a variety of resources available to assist them in establishing the status of a child who may be abducted or endangered and what courses of action are immediately available. INTERDICTION FOR THE PROTECTION OF CHILDREN will provide the knowledge of behavioral patterns of both suspects and victims. The items to look for might be present or absent along with the type of questions that need to be asked. When taken together, and in their proper context, are indicators of abduction or abuse that can be articulated and supported through research to meet this legal requirement.
