The course will familiarize the students with strategies and techniques on effective decision making within the law enforcement and family aspects.
Every day we make decisions without much conscious thought, e.g., what to wear, where to eat, and when to leave the office. Everyone is faced with a lifetime of decisions and some of them have far-reaching consequences. The secret to good decision making is to have and follow a plan. Using a systematic approach can help define problems, gather information, identify actors, evaluate options, determine probability, assess costs, and follow through on a decision.
