DPS Employee Users: Login with your DPS network login credentials. Click on Login and then on DPS Employees Login. New DPS Employee accounts take approximately 2 weeks from date of hire to be activated. DO NOT CREATE A NEW USER ACCOUNT IF YOU ARE A DPS EMPLOYEE. DPS USER ACCOUNTS ARE AUTOMATICALLY CREATED AND UPDATED. A USER GUIDE IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE ANNOUNCEMENT ATTACHMENT AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE AT YOUR INITIAL LOGIN. If you are accessing MyTRAIN without being connected to the DPS network you may be issued a one time login token prior to entering your login credentials. This token will be emailed to your DPS email which can be accessed through the Web Outlook App on DPS Internet or your DPS mobile phone email.
Non-DPS Users: If you have previously attended a DPS course you may already have a MyTRAIN account. You may receive an error if you attempt to setup a duplicate account. Email email@example.com to verify. If you are new to DPS courses, sign up as a new user with your email and PID (if applicable). Your account will automatically be activated and a notification email will be sent to you. Active account Users will click on Login at the top right and then click on Non-DPS Employees Login. Enter your email and password to access MyTRAIN. A USER GUIDE IS AVAILABLE THROUGH THE ANNOUNCEMENT ATTACHMENT AT THE TOP OF THE PAGE AT YOUR INITIAL LOGIN. Payment for tuition based courses must be paid for by credit card only. No other payment method is accepted.

The Texas Department of Public Safety offers a wide variety of Leadership and Professional Development Courses. Our courses are available to DPS staff and other government agency employees. Courses are designed to immerse you into learning sessions to gain personal insight into strengths, talents and skills to augment opportunities for career advancement.
Classes are facilitated/instructed by knowledgeable and experienced Instructors dedicated to meeting your training and education needs. MyTRAIN is an advanced yet user friendly learning content management system. You will find this to be an invaluable tool for your professional development and leadership advancement.
Most DPS courses provide TCOLE training credit. If applicable, your TCOLE training record will be automatically updated (TCOLE PID must be provided for record to be updated).
An on-site cafeteria is available for your convenience. The cafeteria is open daily. There you will find well prepared menu selections for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Drinks, snacks and vending machines are also available. The gymnasium is available for those that meet qualifications (check with your Instructor). Extensive, no charge parking is available near all campus buildings. If special accommodations are needed, the Training Coordinator or Instructor will be happy to assist.
