This is a Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE) elective Self-Aid Buddy-Aid (SABA) Life Savingonline training course offered for Texas Peace Officers, Jailers, and Telecommunicators.
There are times in every first responder's career when they need to perform lifesaving medical intervention in the line of duty. Deaths resulting from traumatic injury can be prevented by proper treatment at the scene by you or a fellow first responder. This course provides you with the knowledge and tools needed to save your life, or the life of someone else, until EMS arrive on the scene, using the tools at hand and individual Self-Aid / Buddy-Aid (SABA). Please note, the entire course (including any applicable course parts), final exam(s), and course evaluation(s) must be completed in order to receive two (2) hours of course credit. TCOLE Reporting OSS Academy® typically reports 4 to 5 times each week [excluding U.S. Federal holidays]. We report your credit directly through TCLEDDS to the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement [TCOLE]. You should have already provided your full and correct name, TCOLE PID number, and other important information when registering for your account.
